I did not grow up eating grits - and I am from the South.
What I did grow up eating was biscuits and chocolate gravy. I sure did.

Wow! I lived in lower Alabama for 22 years before recently moving to Atlanta and I've NEVER heard of chocolate gravy!

Oh.My.Gosh! Never heard of chocolate gravy. Can't quite even imagine it, but think it's not a bad idea to sit around eating chocolate gravy and singing hymns for the rest of my life...
