Eating Chocolate Gravy and Singing Hymns

I did not grow up eating grits - and I am from the South.

What I did grow up eating was biscuits and chocolate gravy. I sure did.

This reminds me that a bran muffin isn't too bad if you top it off with brown gravy!

Wow! I lived in lower Alabama for 22 years before recently moving to Atlanta and I've NEVER heard of chocolate gravy!

Bet it's tasty! :)

Oh.My.Gosh! Never heard of chocolate gravy. Can't quite even imagine it, but think it's not a bad idea to sit around eating chocolate gravy and singing hymns for the rest of my life...

I'll try it. I guess if one can eat a sugary caramel roll for breakfast, chocolate gravy could be tolerated. (shudders)

Love your new header quote. Hey we are twins. If I can't live here. The Carolinas call my name the NC mts or the low country of SC. I still have my accent and would fit in there. I just bookmarked a recipe for Chocolate Gravy on the PW new site tasty kitchen and like any soutern gal I have quite a collection of cast iron which I treasure. Love you friend.
